WOLVERTON TOWN BAND

We're looking for brass players of all ages, abilities and instruments to join our friendly, community band. We especially need trombone, cornet, euphonium and Bb bass players but everyone is welcome.

Membership is completely free and we can loan you an instrument. If you can't already play, we'll be happy to teach you.

Wolverton Town Band is based in Wolverton, four miles north of Central Milton Keynes. It is the oldest brass band in the area and has a long and proud history.

The band used to compete (the earliest records go back to 1909) but we now concentrate on being a local community band, developing existing players and teaching learners. We are a friendly and mixed ability group who enjoy making music and helping each other.

We meet for practice sessions each week and welcome players of all standards.
