REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY/ARMISTICE DAY PARADE

11 November 2018. The band participated in today's Remembrance Sunday/Armistice Day parade in the town. Well done to everyone, especially Heidi who played The Last Post and Colin who read a poem on this special occasion commemorating100 years since the end of the First World War.

PLAYING THE LAST POST

26 October 2018.  Our Musical Director, Jane Lloyd, played The Last Post in The Square this evening.


A member of the band will play The Last Post at 6pm each evening until Saturday 10th November - in commemoration of 100 years since the end of the First World War.


Jane was joined by Scott Forrest playing the bagpipes in full Scottish regalia.

M.O.T.H. ANNUAL PARADE

2 September 2018. In what has become an annual committment, the band played at the national parade of the Memorable Order of Tin Hats (the ex-servicemen’s organisation) in Central Milton Keynes, in remembrance of all those military personnel who have lost their lives in conflict.

STONY STRATFORD RIVERSIDE FAIR

9 June 2018. Another hot day playing; this time at the Stony Stratford Riverside Fair. A great family fun day including fairground rides, music, lots of stalls and refreshments.

CASTLETHORPE DUCK RACE

3 June 2018. Lovely day entertaining the crowds at the Castlethrorope Duck Race, stategically placed near the beer and tea tents and a short walk from the ice cream van!

MK MARATHON

7 May 2018. It was a hot day for both the runners in the MK Marathon and our players today.


The band played between noon and 2pm on the old railway platform at New Bradwell (17+ miles in) spurring runners on towards the finish line.

INTERNATIONAL WORKERS' MEMORIAL DAY

29 April 2018. The band supported the day by marching and playing at the ceremony in Campbell Park, MIlton Keynes.

TICKFORD ABBEY CARE HOME, NEWPORT PAGNELL

21 April 2018. The band's first gig of the year was at Tickford Abbey Care Home in Newport Pagnell today, entertaining both residents and guests at the home's open day.
