Wolverton Town Band

We are currently looking for a Principal Cornet to lead or front row. A good standard of musicianship is required to lead and motivate our young front row players.

We rehearse on a Thursday evening from 8pm to 10pm in The Old Bath House in Wolverton Milton Keynes (entrance next to Tesco) and have a learner's band that rehearses on Mondays from 7pm to 8pm and Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm (you are welcome to come along to the learner's sessions but this is not completely necessary).

We are hoping to return to contesting and, therefore, require a committed Principal Cornet to give us a stable cornet section with which to do this.

We are currently looking to take players into all sections of the band.

We need to recruit players of a reasonable standard with a view to returning to contesting in the near future.

We can provide instruments in most cases and where applicable, we can insure your own instrument on our band insurance.
