The oldest brass band in the Milton Keynes area

Wolverton Town Band is based in Wolverton, four miles north of Central Milton Keynes.

We've not been able to practice or perform together lately but we are still putting music together remotely. No carols on the street this year but have a listen to the latest Wolverton Town Band virtual version of Once in Royal Davids City. And We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

And here is our contribution earlier in the year to what would have been the MK Museum Victorian Weekend, and Abide With Me for the Benefice of Wolverton VE Day service:

Wolverton Town Band Needs YOU!

We're looking for brass players of all ages, abilities and instruments to join our friendly, community band.

Membership is completely free, we can loan you an instrument and if you can't already play, we'll be happy to teach you.

Cornet? Horn?

Baritone? Trombone?

Soprano? Bass?

If you think we're your kind of band, we'd love to hear from you.

We are the oldest brass band in the area and have a long and proud history.

The band used to compete (earliest records go back to 1909) but we now concentrate on being a local community band, developing existing players and teaching learners. We are a friendly and mixed ability group who enjoy making music and helping each other.

We meet for practice sessions each week and welcome players of all standards.
