WOLVERTON TOWN BAND

The oldest brass band in the Milton Keynes area

BAND PRACTICE

We are based in the railway town of Wolverton, four miles north of Central Milton Keynes.

We're not meeting together at the moment due to social distancing restrictions but look forward to welcoming anyone of any standard who's interested in playing with us as circumstance change.

We practice at:

The Old Bath House Community Centre (access is via the alley next to the main entrance to Tesco)
Stratford Road
Wolverton
MK12 5RL

To find us, face the main Tesco entrance with your back to both the car park and the trolley storage area. Look to your left and you'll see a set of steps leading up to Stratford Road. Before the steps there's an alleyway leading down to a big iron gate. Go through the gate and you'll find a door almost immediately on your left. Our band room is through this door and the door opposite.

We look forward to seeing you!

COME AND JOIN US

Mondays – main band:

7:30 (PROMPT) - 9:30pm.

But if the Monday is a Bank Holiday, we move the practice to the Thursday after the holiday (just to keep everyone on their toes)

Thursdays – informal:

7:00pm - 8.00pm.

A more relaxed session for band members to develop together, work out some of those tricky parts, try out some different music, or even a different instrument.
